Sushena Ranatunga is a prominent figure in Sri Lanka’s IT industry and a committed humanitarian. As the Director and Co-founder of Creative Software, he has played a pivotal role in establishing the company as a leading exporter of software services in the country since its inception in 1999. Sushena’s entrepreneurial drive is evident in his founding of Four Corners Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Four Corners Leisure (Pvt) Ltd, and Creative eLearning. His expertise also extends to his directorial roles at Pagero Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and Cambio Software Engineering Pte Ltd, a leading eHealthcare solutions provider based in Sweden.

Sushena embarked on his IT career in 1989 and has since held various positions, including programmer, systems analyst, project coordinator, consultant, and director, both in Sri Lanka and internationally. His commitment to technological advancement and innovation led to his appointment as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Arthur C Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Sushena is deeply dedicated to social service. He has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Colombo Fort since 2003, contributing to various community initiatives. His notable involvement in the Little Hearts project, aimed at establishing the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Lady Ridgeway Hospital, underscores his commitment to improving healthcare for children in Sri Lanka.

Sushena holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology/Information Systems from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and an M.Sc. in Information Technology from Keele University (UK). His contributions to the IT industry and social service in Sri Lanka exemplify his leadership, foresight, and compassion.

Sushena is married to Roshini, a Management Accountant, and they are blessed with two sons, Dulhara (student at the University of Melbourne) and Vethuja (student at Colombo International School).
