Our Areas of Focus

We are dedicated to Seven areas of focus to improve lives, fight diseases, educate our younger generation, protect our environment and promote peace among communities

PEACE & CONFLICT PREVENTION / RESOLUTION

Rotary provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts and prevent violence, which displace millions of people each year.

DISEASE PREVENTION & TREATMENT

We are committed to global health programmes for control, elimination, eradication and prevent re-emergence of infectious diseases.

ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Providing vocational training, assistance in further education, guidance in self employment and perhaps material support to improve quality of life.

BASIC EDUCATION AND LITERACY

Every child has a right for basic education and literacy. Our programmes are aimed at providing scholarships and infrastructure support for them.

WATER & SANITATION

We undertake sustainable community projects to improve drinking water and the sanitation infrastructure.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH

Educating mothers in healthcare and child nutrition have helped many families to bring up their children with care and responsibility.

PROTECTING ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to supporting activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment

Planted 430,000 Trees restoring our ecosystem

A scientifically managed drive to restore Sri Lanka’s forest cover.
Every sapling is geo-tagged and nurtured for 5 years to ensure survival.
