The Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town of Rotary District 3220 completed the phase 1 of Sharp Eyes Learn Better, at the Wadduwa Central College, marking the beginning of a transformative initiative dedicated to improving children’s vision and supporting better learning outcomes

Phase 01 of training teachers brought together representatives from 12 schools to reach over 5,500 school children with vision screening.

We humbly thank the medical officials, Dr. Dinithi from the National Eye Hospital, Colombo, who conducted the training, equipping teachers with the knowledge and tools to carry out basic vision screening in their schools.

We acknowledge the commitment of President of Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town Rtn. Thurab Hilmy and the members, all the teachers, volunteers and everyone who contributed to the successful launch of this meaningful initiative.
