Sharp Eyes Learn Better is the flagship project of the Rotary District 3220 for year 2026–27, created with one powerful belief: every child deserves to see clearly, learn confidently, and reach their full potential

As part of this islandwide initiative, the Rotary Club of Wattala conducted a vision screening programme for students of the Sunday School at the Sri Ponnambalavaneswarar Kovil, Kotahena.

86 children screened 28 children identified as requiring prescription spectacles 28 opportunities to see better, learn better, and dream bigger

This is more than a vision screening. It is about removing an invisible barrier to education and giving children the clarity they need to engage, learn, and thrive.
