End Polio Now
End Polio Now continues

Sri Lanka and the wider WHO South-East Asia Region were certified polio-free in 2014, a remarkable public health achievement built through years of immunisation, surveillance, community action and partnership.
But being polio-free is not the same as being free from the threat.
As long as polio exists anywhere in the world, every polio-free country must remain vigilant. A virus does not recognise borders, and stopping our efforts now could put decades of progress at risk. Rotary International together with governments, WHO, UNICEF, the CDC, the Gates Foundation and countless health workers and communities, continues the global effort to eradicate polio once and for all.
Now, it is our time to keep moving.
PEDAL 4 POLIO — Awareness Cycling Rally 2026

This is more than a cycling rally. It is a reminder that progress must be protected, awareness must remain alive, and the final mile must be completed.
Sri Lanka helped show what is possible. Now, together, we can help make a polio-free world possible.
Join us. Ride with us. Support us. Because until polio is eradicated everywhere, our work is not finished.
END POLIO NOW. Every pedal. Every voice. Every action brings us closer.
